Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. Her most well-known role is her character Skyler White in The AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other appearances comprise Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed by the theater in the Chicago area for several years prior to trying her luck in TV as well as film roles. Anna was chosen to play Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production that was directed by David Schwimmer. She also appeared in the podcast audio drama of four episodes Numbered days, which was launched in 2022. The drama of Breaking Bad is driven by the relationship between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The deterioration of this relationship is similar to Walter White's dying years.
